TRUTH WHO AM I?

My name is Charbel Barakat, and my story began with a pencil, a blank page, and an endless curiosity about the world. While studying Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the Lebanese University, my graduation project unexpectedly landed me on television, opening the door to a series of media appearances. Soon after, I co-founded a design studio that expanded into several Lebanese shopping malls, turning creative ideas into a growing business.

But in 2016, I began searching for something beyond aesthetics and commercial success. I stepped into humanitarian storytelling, collaborating with organizations including UNDP, Médecins Sans Frontières, ICRC, Teach For Lebanon, and Women in Front. From advocacy and gender equality to humanitarian crises and social change, I discovered that creativity could do more than attract attention — it could give people a voice.

That journey eventually led me to PepsiCo, where I now lead multicultural creative productions and tell stories across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. Along the way, my work earned international recognition, including Telly Awards in 2023 and 2025 and an Anthem Award in 2024. More than 15 years later, I've traveled from sketchbooks to studios, from humanitarian missions to global campaigns, yet one thing remains unchanged: I started by creating images, but somewhere along the way, I discovered that what I truly create is human connection.

Safe Water Network in India - Producer

Mrs. Mamatha Pesara is an operator and Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) worker at the iJal Madhavapuram station in Telangana, India. Through her partnership with Safe Water Network and the PepsiCo Foundation, Mrs. M. Pesara helps to oversee the water station for her community and raise awareness of the importance of clean drinking water and safe hygiene.
