BARAKAT
AWARD-WINNING PRODUCER &
VISUAL COMMUNICATION EXPERT

TRUTH WHO AM I?

I’m Charbel Barakat — a creative communications supervisor, storyteller, and award-winning audiovisual producer with a love for blending art, emotion, and strategy into visuals that move people.
For over 15 years, I’ve been crafting campaigns, films, and experiences across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia— bridging cultures through sound, color, and story. My work lives where creativity meets purpose: at the crossroads of art direction, filmmaking, and human connection.
I studied Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the Lebanese University’s Fine Arts Institute, where my graduation project opened the door to my first TV appearance — and soon after, to a series of interviews across media outlets. It was the spark that set my creative path in motion.
Curiosity has guided me ever since. I’ve explored everything from visual communication and illustration to advocacy, gender issues, geopolitics, and Corporate Social Reputation, learning how design can speak the language of change.
After graduation, I co-founded a design studio with outlets in several Lebanese malls — a bold experiment in turning imagination into something tangible. But by 2016, I felt called to something deeper: using creativity to serve humanity.
That calling led me to collaborate with organizations such as Teach For Lebanon, UNDP, Médecins Sans Frontières, Women in Front, ICRC, and Binda Consulting International — each project shaping me into more than a producer, a humanitarian artist who believes storytelling can heal, inspire, and unite.
Today, I continue that journey as a communications Supervisor at PepsiCo, leading multicultural teams and crafting stories that celebrate people, purpose, and progress.
At heart, I’m still the same curious artist — just with a few more miles, lenses, and layers of light. Because to me, creativity isn’t just what I do - it’s the way I connect to the world.
